Napa Valley Wine Tasting

Started from the "Domaine Chandon" and tried the Pinot Noir Rose. It was very nice and smooth, a little too fruity for me but Shirin enjoyed it. My first stop is always Chandon and we spent too much time there, next time I am not going to Chandon, I like that place too much and end up drinking too much there, then I get "stuck"!. We were still able to make it to Robert Mondavi chateau and tried the cabernet sauvigon 1997, it was a treat, dont miss that one, try it, you'll love it. Once done at Mondavi, our plan was to eat lunch at the culinary school close to Beringer. Shirin had a flight at 6pm from San Jose so we decided to head back to the bay, bad decision, she missed the flight anyway and we missed a nice lunch.

8 mile Time Trial

This was fun! I loved it. for a while I really thought I was at the tour de France hahaha, feels good to think that. We were about 50 riders to leave every 10 seconds. Eventhough it's you against the clock, catching up other riders is an extra motivation to go faster. I did pass 5 I think and no-one passed me :-) but again we were not competing each other.

My time was just under 25min for 8 miles. 

Tuesday's Track Work Out

Every tuesday evening, we have our track work out at Foothill college. That's gives me a chance to ride my bike there, about 9 miles. It is nice to meet the group there, it's a great atmosphere and a good work out. Lots of core training and useful tips from the coaches. 

Mariage de Stacey et Casanova

Le week-end dernier c'etait le mariage de Stacey Brey et Christiam Peralta Casanova. Malheuresement ils ne sont pas sur la photo! Ce fut assez interessant, mariage dans une eglise mormon et pas d'alcool pendant la ceremonie. Cette photo represente plus ou moins notre groupe d'amis dans la baie de San Francisco.

Treasure Island Triathlon -- First TNT Swim Work Out

Saturday Morning 8:30 am at the pool in Menlo Park. It is the first swim work out of the season. I can only swim a lap! better than none but far from 30 needed to complete the swim section of the triathlon in 3 months.
